His financial landscape took a royal leap when he assumed the title of Duke of Cornwall following his father, King Charles III's ascension to the throne in September 2022. The latest reports buzzing through the media reveal that during the financial year 2023-2024, Prince William raked in a staggering $30 million!

That impressive figure comes courtesy of the Duchy of Cornwall, an estate he inherited as part of his new role as Duke of Cornwall. According to reports, the Duchy of Cornwall earned a surplus of £23.6 million (around $30.4 million) in the 2023-2024 financial year, thanks to its investments. Talk about a royal payday.
However, it's not just about the money. Along with this inheritance came new responsibilities and titles for the Prince. The estate, originally established in 1337 by King Edward III to provide for the heir to the throne, has grown into an enormous holding valued at over $1 billion. Stretching across 205 square miles of land in the UK, it encompasses everything from arable farms to residential and commercial properties and even forests and coastline. So, while the annual income is hefty, the sheer size and variety of the Duchy's holdings show there's much more to the royal portfolio than meets the eye.

Among the new accolades, Prince William has taken on several high-profile patronages. One of the most noteworthy is his role as Patron of the Football Association, a title once held by none other than his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Given the prince's well-known love for football, it’s a natural fit. The Football Association oversees England's men's, women's, and youth soccer teams, and his involvement helps keep a royal connection to one of the nation's favorite sports.

William decided to step down as president of Fields in Trust, an organization dedicated to protecting parks and green spaces across the UK, transitioning instead to a patron role.
